We are looking for people bridge the gap between Kidney Research UK and their local renal unit or unit they visit most.
What does this involve?
- Introducing yourself to the staff at your local renal unit
- Ensuring we have the right contact details for the unit you have chosen, and this is kept up to date
- Visiting the unit a few times a year to drop off our Update magazine
- Dropping off ad hock information for example, pens and event information
Is this role for you?
Its quick and easy to sign up after a chat with a member of the Kidney Research UK team.
This is a flexible role and can work around your lifestyle. There may be periods of time where we don’t require any help from you for a while but when we do need you, it's incredibly important.
Why is this role important?
We want to grow our community of kidney patients in order to inform and support them in various ways. There are too many renal units with patients who have never heard of us. This role will help more people to hear about the amazing work we are doing and enable them to get involved in exciting opportunities at the charity.
How to apply
Email our volunteer programme manager to let them know you are interested in applying for the role.
