Every day 23 people start treatment for kidney failure.

With your support we can fund research to transform treatments for people living with kidney disease.

Tim, in hospital bed

Help us to create a safer path for transplant patients

Tim was so grateful for his kidney transplant. But within a few weeks, immunosuppression treatment led to BK virus - and then bladder cancer.

They had to completely remove his bladder and prostate gland. He’ll need a stoma for the rest of his life.

That’s why we’re funding research so others don’t have to go through what Tim did.

How your donations fund vital research

In 2024/25, we invested across research, awareness and education

£
million

We strive to continuously improve efficiency and to invest as much as possible of each pound in research and raising awareness of kidney disease.

Of all the money we raise, we invest 78 pence out of every pound directly into our research and awareness work, with 22 pence helping us to raise the next pound to sustain our work into the future.
