Current calls for applications
The call to apply for our research grants round (innovation and project grants) is now closed
These grants fund stand-alone research which will enhance our knowledge of kidney disease. Project grants are for more established lines of enquiry with prior supporting data. Innovation grants are for new hypotheses where initial pilot data is required prior to a full research project.
The call to apply for our intercalated degree round is now open for 2015
The intercalated degree awards for medical students aim to encourage and engage undergraduates with an interest in renal medicine at this early stage in their career development. The £5,000 award is paid directly to the students who can use this for living costs and fees.
The call to apply for Fellowships is now closed
These grants are personal awards to researchers, both non-clinical and clinical, at key stages of their careers. The funding provides support for them to gain stronger expertise in renal research, developing their research careers in established UK institutions and, where relevant, to attain a higher degree. We are committed to supporting the future generation of renal research experts.
