Volunteers fund research to save lives!
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our charity. Without volunteers we would not be able to raise anywhere near the monies we need to fund research into kidney disease. Every person who generously gives of their time to Kidney Research UK is making a difference to the lives of kidney patients.
Who are our volunteers and what have they achieved?
Colin Southgate
"Finding new and innovative ways to raise funds can be a challenging and exciting experience, which I have derived a great deal of satisfaction from" - Colin Southgate

So, how you can help?
Don't worry, we won't ask you to swim the Channel, unless you want to of course! There is a range of ways in which you can support our work, depending on your interests and amount of time you would like to give. For example, you may wish to sell raffle tickets on our behalf, place toys in local businesses as raffle prizes or ask your local shops to take one of our collecting cans.
You may like to hold a dress down day at your workplace, or organise a coffee morning on our behalf. If you'd prefer a bigger challenge, you could become involved with organising your own fundraising event, like a fashion show or quiz evening, or take part in one of our exciting challenge events.
Our volunteers have found the work to be a rewarding and enriching experience, and a great way to meet people. We highly value our volunteers, and want this to be an experience you will enjoy and want to continue with.
