Jacqui Mould has won Kidney Research UK’s London Bridge’s Walk photo competition with her picture ‘River of Dreams’ winning an Olympus Mju TOUGH 6000 digital camera.
The Charity’s staff voted on all the competition entries sent in by our supporters after the London Bridges Walk 2009 and everyone said that it was a very tough competition but ‘River of Dreams’ shone through.
Mrs Mould likes to support one charity event a year and it was the first time that she had taken part in the walk. This year she chose Kidney Research UK because unfortunately her uncle suffers from kidney cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy to fight the disease.
Mrs Mould said: “I’m delighted to have won the competition! I think it’s important to give something back and I like to take part in one charity event a year. The London Bridges Walk was excellent and the atmosphere was so friendly. It really did feel like everyone was in it together to support the cause.”
