Paula Rowlett

Paula Rowlett, 29, from St Helens, Merseyside, has just been diagnosed with CKD stage 5. Like many kidney disease patients, Paula was in complete shock to find out she had kidney disease - apart from feeling tired, she had no obvious symptoms.

Paula is now getting used to some tough lifestyle changes. To help her come to terms with her illness, she has decided to keep a video diary, to document her journey as a kidney patient. Paula hopes by sharing her experience with other kidney patients it will inspire them to support Kidney Research UK in their vision of a world free from kidney disease.
