Sonia said: ‘Unfortunately my brother Ketan died last August after his kidneys failed. He was only 28-years-old so we’re doing the walk for him. He’d been on dialysis for nine years and on the waiting list for a transplant for the last four years. It’s a shame that there’s such a shortage of Asian donors. I’m here with my cousin, Anita, and we’ve raised £3,500.’
