White Water Rafting Race - Aberfeldy, Loch Tay. Scotland - Sunday 16th March 2008

Experience the ultimate in white water rafting events on a completely natrual course. Compete against several teams from across the country whilst raising vital funds for life saving research. Teams need to consist of eight members and all must be over 12 years old

Saving lives ball - Thistle Hotel, Glasgow - 8th May 2008

On Thursday 8th May 2008, we will host the Kidney Research UK Saving Lives Ball at the Thistle Hotel, Glasgow. You’ll be sure to have a great time at this black tie event whilst helping to raise funds for life saving research. The evening is set to be filled with fun and great entertainment for everyone attending with a growing list of celebs from the world of sport and television.

Edinburgh Bridge Walk - Edinburgh, Scotland - Sunday 22nd June 2008

Enjoy the best views in Fife and the Lothians by walking over Edinburgh’s famous Forth Road Bridge. The walk is about 3 miles long and should take approximately 1-2 hours. See the picturesque scenery of Fife and the Lothians, the beautiful coastal towns of North and South Queensferry, the daily marine traffic of the Forth River and Port Edgar and, of course the iconic Forth Rail Bridge.

Last years Edinburgh Bridge walk was our first on the bridge and over 350 people took part helping us raise over £10,000 for life saving research. Please register and take part this year and help us make the 2008 walk even more successful.

Help our recycling appeal!

Kidney Research UK has joined forces with the Recycling Appeal to collect and recycle unwanted mobile phones and used printer cartridges.

You can send your old mobile phones or empty printer cartridges to us in a freepost envelope. If you collect empty cartridges and old phones at work, and get over eight items, we can arrange for their free collection.
